I LOVE Grenada!! Its so beautiful. We were supposed to go on a river tubing excursion but the river was too rough because of the storms. We were approached and offered a boat tour as we were walking through the mall and decided to do that instead.
We road to an area called Halifax. It was where Christopher Columbus hid his ships when he was out on his adventure. We anchored there and jumped out and snorkeled. The snorkeling was only okay. I think it was because the snorkel equipment wasn't very good. If we would have known what we were doing we would have brought our own.
After snorkeling we went to a white sand beach. We actually had to swim in to it. Both times we got out of the boat we jumped out. Therefore we had to muscle our way back in. Well, as you can tell by the pictures, Im neither muscley or skinny, so it was quite amusing. At our second stop I ended up going under water and standing on the ocean floor so Deborah could stand on my shoulders to help boost herself in, then help pull me in. Like I said....very amusing.
The tour lasted longer then it was supposed to so we had to literally run back to the ship. It was so fun and so worth it though.
