My diaper cake.

So a few posts back I showed my first ever baby shower invitation. I also made my first ever diaper cake for that shower. I wanted to use the same colors I used for the invitation to tie it all in. I decided to make it square and use flowers on it to make it look more elegant. I also made center pieces out of similar flowers and got table cloths to match. I think all in all my first baby shower was a success :)

My new toy!

I have been bad mouthing my Explorer pretty much ever since I got it. Dont get me wrong. It has been quite helpful at times. It was just that I had a 7 seat car and only 5 of the 7 seats were easily accessible. Plus, it was quite the gas guzzler. With the gas prices going up its been even worse. I've been wanting a mini van for sometime now. I know it makes me such a "mom," but they are just so convenient and roomy. I checked one out the other day and finally convinced my husband its what i need. :) Its so nice!! The doors open at the push of a button, the seats are leather so its easily cleanable, and the kids favorite...a DVD player. So now I am the proud owner of a Toyota Sienna. It is a few years old, has a few dings and dents, but its perfect for me.

He pooped!

Today when I went to pick up the kids from the sitter Grayden had some very exciting news to tell me. He pooped on the potty at the sitters house! I could barely contain my excitement. We are going to Chuck E Cheese tonight.
